Lily’s Kbeauty Report: A Visit to Peach and Lily!

My latest beauty field trip took me to the first Peach and Lily shop. Peach and Lily is one of my favorite Korean beauty websites and here in New York they have a shop in Macy’s Flushing in the borough of Queens (best borough period!).  Honestly, any store with my name in it that is only a quick ride on the 7 train with great skincare is definitely going to be awesome.

Alicia Yoon created the e-commerce website and now it has an actual brick and mortar store where you will find highly effective products that will give you the skin of your dreams. Peach and Lily carries some of the best brands from Asia but only 5% of the products they vet are picked.  When I walked into Macy’s I found the shop inviting and easy to navigate. Each step of your routine is clearly mapped out with helpful skincare directions.

I found a few goodies that I love and I can’t wait to go back for another haul.

Mizon Honey Black Sugar Scrub

O…M..G. This pot of sweetness is a black sugar scrub that will exfoliate and brighten the skin.  Be sure to use this product after cleansing on a wet face. I apply, gently scrub it in and if I’m in the shower on my neck as well. Let it sit for five minutes, and then rinse off with warm water. My face felt instantly smoother and looked brighter, and my face oil absorbed immediately. In addition to sweeping away those pesky dead skin cells, you also get hydration benefits with the help of  Meadowfoam Seed Oil and Mango Seed Butter. Lemon Fruit Extract helps to brightening.  I use this product daily, but if you have sensitive skin you can use it once or twice a week, and work your way up to three or more times per week.

Royal Gold Black Bee Propolis Mask

This is one of the most nourishing sheet masks I have ever used.  A combination of a 24K Gold ingredient and Black Bee Propolis helps improve circulation and fortify your skin, and hydrate.

FYI:  Black Bee Propolis is produced by Black Bees that live in Provence, France. Lucky bees. It is a mixture of saliva and enzyme of the bees and substances from trees, flowers, and grass that they use to survive.

Snail Mucin Moisture Mask

I’m obsessed with the multiple benefits of Snail Mucin as an anti-aging ingredient. Stay tuned for a dedicated post on this specific ingredient coming soon to Sage Beauty. This mask addresses fine lines and scarring. Snail Mucin is great for exfoliation, and the serum within the mask also hydrates. After cleansing you apply your mask and wear it for 15 to 20 minutes then remove.

Ariul Lemon Mask

This sheet mask was only three dollars. I know right?  I am actually a daily masker and I love using a brightening mask in the morning because it prepares my skin so well for makeup.
