Fresh Foundation Review: Becca Aqua Luminous Perfecting Foundation

Hello Lovelies,

It’s time to talk about foundation, and this post is especially for my lovelies that want a fresh natural look that is super lightweight.   I always get questions about foundation and many of them are about how to find a foundation that isn’t too “heavy” or “cakey”, or what complexion product look natural and is great for everyday wear.  If you are looking for a foundation but don’t always like how makeup “feels”, or you feel you don’t need a full-coverage product everyday, then your search is over.  Becca’s newest complexion super star is the Aqua Luminous Perfecting Foundation.   Aqua Luminous is a lightweight liquid foundation with a natural finish and subtle luminosity. It’s buildable coverage, and comes in eight shades.  But don’t worry!  This product has a technology that allows it to adjust and fit a wide range of skin tones.  FYI: I wear the shade ‘Warm Honey’.   Aqua Luminous lives up to its name with a formulation that is 32% Water, and contains Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin C, and Vitamin E.  Green Algae Extract also helps to keep that hydration game strong.   I love a complexion product that also has some skincare friendly ingredients.

A box of heaven!

Here are some tips and tricks to get the best results:

  1. Apply with the Becca One Perfecting brush. Because of the formulation a sponge will soak up most of the product and you won’t be able to build coverage.
  2. Be sure to shake well prior to use.
  3. Twist the cap until it pops up, press down completely and then release to fill the dropper, apply.  The amount in the dropper is the perfect amount.
  4. Try adding half a drop of Shimmering Skin Perfector for added glow.

I hope you will give this product a try. If you fall in love with it, which I know you will, then tag me on Instagram so I can see your gorgeous glow.

XOXOX,

Lily
