MAKEUP TUTORIAL AND REVIEW: TOO FACED SEMI-SWEET PALETTE

Hello Lovelies,

It’s time for some candy-coated glamour!!!  My new favorite palette is the Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar by Too Faced.  I already have the original Chocolate Bar Palette which is a beautiful collection of warm earth tones and some yummy burgundy shades.  The next generation of this palette is a deeper collection of colors.  The colors are rich, heavily pigmented, long-wearing, and have an amazing texture.  I have been wearing this palette almost every day for the past three weeks. Need I say more? I did two looks that I will be sharing in this post. You can find this lovely palette right here.

DAYTIME SMOKEY EYE:

I primed my eyes by applying Too Faced Shadow Insurance all my lid. Using a crease brush I applied the shade Peanut Butter to my crease as my transition color.  If you like Saddle from MAC you will love this color.  Then I blended Truffle into my crease to get a little more dramatic. On my lid I applied Nougat. On the outer-v of the eye I applied the deep matte black shade Licorice and smudged it into my upper lash line. At this point I used a clean crease brush to blend out any harsh lines.  I used the color Butter Pecan as my highlight color.  As always I used a black cream liner to do my signature cat-eye and applied a generous amount of mascara. I took this picture in natural light with no filters so my readers could see how the shadows look in real life.

SATURDAY NIGHT SMOKEY EYE:

The second look I whipped up is a classic smokey eye. It’s great for a special night out, or if you just like a super glam look then you will love it.  As always, apply your shadow primer first.  I started with Peanut Butter in the crease to define. I pressed a small amount of black cream liner on my lid.  I applied Licorice on my lid with a flat shadow brush to pat on the black shadow. Then I used my crease brush to blend, blend, and blend some more. I used a small shadow brush to apply the black shadow on my lower lash line. I did not highlight the brow as I normally do because I think it just looked perfect as is.

Please let me know how you like these looks! Keep in touch with me on Snapchat (sagebeautyblog) and Instagram(@sagebeautyblog) and share your favorite looks with me from this palette.

Stay Beautiful,

XXOO
