MAKEUP REVIEW: CHEER UP!!! MAJORETTE BLUSH BY BENEFIT COSMETICS

All I can say is that the new cheek product from Benefit Cosmetics is MAJOR.   As soon as I saw the whimsical packaging and universally flattering color, I knew I had to add this to my makeup empire.

Majorette gives you the youthful look of the head cheerleader at a homecoming game! It is a peachy-pink cream-to-powder blush. I am absolutely in love with what I can only describe as a watermelon bubble gum fragrance and a velvety texture. It seems to have a somewhat neutral undertone so it can work on a wide range of skin tones.

It can be worn alone to give a soft glow of color to the cheeks, or used underneath as a booster product for a powder blush. It comes in an adorable magnetic compact with a mirror and is applied with your fingers or a foundation brush.

It looked so pretty I almost didn't want to use it!

The first time I used this product it gave me a soft pink glow and resulted in natural highlighting effect.  If you have a fair to medium skin tone it will give you the perfect peach glow to instantly brighten your complexion.

The second time I tested the product I applied Nars Deep Throat blush on top of the Majorette.  Deep Throat is not a dark color on me but I noticed that my blush definitely looked like it got a boost and it looked more intense. My blush stayed on well and lasted longer.

This product would be a good addition to your makeup bag because:

1. It is fast and easy to apply.

2. It will improve the power of a powder blush

3. It can be used as creamy highlighter.

4. It is a good alternative to a cheek stain.

It is available at Sephora stores and sephora.com for twenty-eight dollars.

If you try out a look incorporating this product, I would love to see it.
