As the holiday season approaches, the urge to make a splash or get into the “holiday spirit” usually involves a red lipstick. This season lip colors that range from matte to metallic are taking reds to a hotter level, giving us so many options for that perfect red that will be in our makeup bags well after New Year’s Eve.

This deep, sultry red is magically matte, long wearing, and perfectly compliments the change in season. It’s a shade that seamlessly goes from day to night, and is both sophisticated and edgy.
2. Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Naz Fur Atoo.
A peek into my makeup collection will quickly reveal my love for Kat Von D’s amazing brand. Most of my favorite liquid lipsticks are by Kat Von D, and this is a red that is always in my purse. Naz Fur Atoo is classic red hue, and of course it’s long wearing and the formula is comfortable on the lips with an applicator that applies the perfect amount of product.
3. Sugarpill Liquid Lipstick in Strange Love.
I fell in love with this color when I bought in a set, the Feline Fancy Makeup Collection for Spring 2017. I am happy to say that Sugarpill now sells this rich red with a royal metallic finish, as a solo product!! Strange Love has a unique mousse like formula that dries to a smooth finish. And can we talk about how delicious it smells?
