Summer Beauty Series Part 1: Healthy Hydration with Boscia’s Revitalizing Black Hydration Gel

It is officially summer and I couldn’t be happier. I am looking forward to beach trips, finishing my summer reading list, and wearing summer dresses everyday.

As the temperature rises and the days get longer, you may notice some changes in your skin.   If you have combination skin, summer is a very confusing time. Your daily skincare routine needs a seasonal update just like your wardrobe.

During this time of year my dry-combination skin becomes more oily and most moisturizers feel too heavy on my skin and don’t work with my makeup.  If you have combination skin then you probably want your summer moisturizer to give enough hydration but balance out the increased oil production.  If you have oily skin then you want a product that will control the excessive oil production you may be experiencing during the summer months without clogging your pores.  The product that will be your new favorite this month is Boscia’s Revitalizing Black Hydration Gel

Boscia’s Hydration Gel is a cooling gel moisturizer that is lightweight and absorbs into the skin instantly.  Boscia uses charcoal to absorb oil, vitamin C to brighten the skin, and glycolic acid to clarify and smooth the skin.  It also minimizes the appearance of pores. Who doesn’t want smaller looking pores?  It looks black when it pumps out but leaves no residue on the skin.   I picked this up at my local Sephora and it was $38. You can use it twice a day but it does not have sunscreen.  Please remember to apply a separate sunscreen on top if you use this as your daytime moisturizer.
