Hello Lovelies,
Kbeauty is one my major beauty passions. You can read more about my love of Kbeauty here. This particular area of beauty is constantly evolving, creating advanced and highly effective products with innovative ingredients. At the moment, my main skincare concerns are dryness, lack of radiance, uneven skintone. It’s time to talk about Snail Mucin.
What can Snails Do for you?
Snail Mucin is like a multivitamin, providing multiple benefits with multiple elements. It contains proteins, elastin, peptides, glycolic acid, and hyaluronic acid. Snail Mucin is great for treating uneven skintone, post acne scars, fine lines, increasing firmness, and boosting moisture levels.
Missha Comes To The Rescue!
Missha is one of many amazing Asian skincare brands that SokoGlam carries, and thanks to a recent 40% off sale I decided it was the perfect time to try something new for my late fall/winter skincare routine. Because I have eczema my level of dryness is ridiculous, and thanks to some unwanted breakouts over the summer and early fall, my skin needed help and hydration immediately. The Super Aqua Cell Renew Snail Sleeping Mask is a rich creamy mask that is safe for sensitive or stressed skin, and it is recommended for break-prone skin types as well. Stressed skin is usually dry, dull, and discolored. The Snail Sleeping Mask makes sure you wake up with a brighter and smoother complexion. The Snail Sleeping Mask will take the place of your regular night cream two to three times a week. After double-cleansing, I apply my eye cream, then the mask from hairline to collarbone. Whatever I use on my face I always apply to my neck! In the morning, Missha suggests only washing with water, but I still use a gentle non-medicated cleanser in the morning. I noticed that my skin was noticeably balanced in the morning, not too oily and not too dry.
I also ordered the Cell Renew Snail Hydro-Gel Sheet Mask. To give you some perspective, the Snail Sheet Mask has 5% Snail Extract while the Sleeping Mask has 15%. As a daily masker the sheet mask is great for an instant boost of hydration and soothing; the sleeping mask is your corrective treatment. So you can incorporate both into your routine for synergistic benefits.
IF you have tried products with Snail Mucin or the products mentioned in this post, leave a comment on my Instagram ( @sagebeautyblog) on how it worked for your skin!
XOXO
