A Day with Lovely Happenings!

Hello Lovelies!

This past weekend I had the pleasure of attending an event hosted by Lovely Happenings. It was held in a gorgeous space at Drift Studios in Manhattan. Lovely Happenings does lifestyle workshop events featuring experts and bloggers sharing they knowledge and passion about fashion, food, beauty, jewelry, and even fitness. I had the chance to catch up with some of my favorite bloggers and discover new bloggers that I now absolutely adore.

Sister fashionistas, Nika and Bianca of diwadollhouse.com gave some great style tips!

My fellow Taurus Alison of foodbymars.com created a heavenly chocolate tarte with strawberries that I can’t wait to recreate in my kitchen at home. She creates clean, healthy recipes based on seasonal ingredients, and a special birthday recipe each month for that month’s for that Zodiac sign.

I always love catching up with my fellow birchblogger Lisa Rosado!! She shared some tips on styling your classic little black dress. You can check out her blog here.

Courtney of colormecourtney.com showed how to can mix patterns and give your wardrobe a style boost for spring! I love mixing patterns and bold colors now that the warmer weather has finally reached New York.

Now that spring is here I have been spending more time outside, working out, and focusing on my health. Working on a computer all day has made me even more aware of being healthy, eating clean, and moving around whenever possible. My new favorite smoothie recipe (which I sampled at this event) was created by Bridget of sweatstretcheat.com.
